Directorate of Quality Infrastructure and Industrial Safety has the mission of ensuring the development and application of the legislative framework in the field of standardization, technical regulation and conformity assessment. The department is responsible for promoting the uniformity and accuracy of the measurements in the Republic of Moldova by elaborating and promoting the state policy in the field of metrology, improving the legislative framework to ensure the traceability of the measurement results at the International System of units of measurement.
Departament promotes the state policy in the field of market surveillance and consumer protection, technical supervision and industrial security by developing an appropriate normative and technical framework.
