- Program of training and improvement of managers of enterprises from different sectors of the economy of the Republic of Moldova
Program implementer: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova
The basic objective is to conduct a one-month internship in Germany. During this internship, managers visit collectively and individually German companies, who later become business partners, as well as take part in a series of training sessions and practical seminars aimed at studying the German business environment.
The vocational training program in the Republic of Moldova provides technical participants to initiate contacts and collaborate with German companies. During the seminars, the participants acquire modern management methods and gain intercultural knowledge indispensable for the establishment of a sustainable partnership. Program participants obtain access to the German market and German technologies. At the same time, they have the opportunity to present themselves personally, to present the company in which their products or services also operate. In the seminars, the participants are familiar with the socio-economic situation of Germany, they improve their knowledge in the fields of: economics, management, intercultural communication.
Target group: The program is intended for top and middle management from Moldovan enterprises with export / import potential, with stable management structures and qualified staff. Participants in the Program are small and medium enterprises who want to establish or already have contacts with business partners in Germany. At the Program, participate enterprises from all areas of the national economy.
The program has 4 components:
- Organization and deployement of the Program, including professional training in the Republic of Moldova
- Internship in Germany.
- Management training: Individual management skills are developed through training adjusted to the needs of the participants;
- Business visits: Specialty discussions, which are taking place in enterprises, contribute to knowledge of good practice examples in Germany;
- Individual Business Visits: Access to the German market is facilitated by direct business contacts.

Costs in Germany are funded by the Ministry of Economy and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Selection of participants is made by a committee of German experts based on the interview.
Applying to the Program is done by filling in the form.
Deadline: March 31, 2017.
The ordinary interview of selecting candidates will take place on 20-21 April 2017.

2. JNPGA (Japanise Non-Project Grant Aid Moldova) Program for SME Development
Program implementer: Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova, JICA(Japan International Cooperation Agency) Japan.
Objective: to promote efforts, regarding the structural economic adjustments by facilitating the purchase of a wide range of production equipment by small businesses.
Target group: SMEs from all over the Republic of Moldova (with the exclusion of Chisinau and Balti mun.)
Main activities: Purchasing of leasing equipment for one year, with a 40% grant. The purchase value varies from 5 million Japanese yen to 24 million Japanese yen.

3. Private Sector Investment Program (PSI)
Program implementer: Embassy of the Netherlands in Kiev, Netherlands Government.
Objectives: to support Dutch business investments in emerging markets by stimulating innovative pilot projects in the commercial sectors to strengthen the private sector of the beneficiary country.
Target group: Economic agents from the Republic of Moldova and the Netherlands.
Main activities:
- Suport the Moldovan - Dutch partnership by providing financial assistance up to 50% of the amount of the investments made, but not more than 750 thousand Euros;
- Provide advice on the stages of initiation and development of the partnership.

4. Competitive Agriculture in Moldova, Continuation of the RISP (Rural Investment and Service Project) II project
Implementation deadline: 5 years
Total budget: US $ 37.4 million
Program implementer: Agricultural Project Implementation Unit, World Bank
Objectives:
- Strengthening food safety management;
- Enhance potential access to markets by improving post-harvest infrastructure and increasing the organization of the farmer;
- Increase productivity through sustainable land management.
Main activities:
- Rehabilitation and endowment of testing laboratories Cahul and Balti;
- Reconstruction of the ANSA (National Agency for Food Safety) headquarters, Chisinau;
- Establishment of 4 border inspection posts - Chisinau, Tudora, Criva, Leuseni;
- Revision and update of existing veterinary legislation in the area of activity and inspection at border posts;
- Staff training;
- Investment Grants Program for Horticultural Producer Groups (grants up to 50% of the total investment, but not more than US $ 350,000);
- Investment support for rehabilitation of erosion prevention strips in order to maintain and increase the productivity of agricultural land;
- Financial incentives for farmers to adopt sustainable land management practices, good agricultural and environmental practices;
- Strengthening human, institutional and technical capacities (both at local and national level) for the implementation of MDT activities, etc.

5. Increase of food production project – 2KR
Program implementers: Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, Japanese Government
Objective: to develop agriculture and increase food production in the Republic of Moldova.
Target group: Private legal entities, agricultural producers and individuals, regardless of the organizational form of activity, who practice the entrepreneurial activity and / or provide mechanized agricultural services.
Main activities: Provision of agricultural technology in instalments (initially, it is paid 50% of the total cost, and then, in installments over the two-year period). The price of the equipment does not include VAT.

6. The project “Consultancy services from Dutch experts”
Program Implementer: PUM Netherlands senior experts
Objective: Sustainable development of SMEs in developing countries by facilitating SMEs' access to innovative international knowledge.
Target group: SMEs in Moldova
Main activities:
- The provision of consultancy by foreign experts;
- Organization of seminars in the beneficiary’s country and / or in the Netherlands;
- Deployment of the beneficiary’s season from 2 weeks to 3 months in the Netherlands;

7. The STEP (Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Program)
Program implementers: The US Foundation for Civil Research and Development (CRDF) and the Moldovan Research and Development Association (MRDA) in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT)
Objective: to promote research and development partnerships between companies and scientists.
Target group: Enterprises and scientists
Main activities: Award of grants for financing economic and scientific partnership projects. The amount of a grant is more than $ 10,000, of which CRDF / MRDA will allocate US $ 5,000 and AITT from $ 5,000 per project.

8. The BAS (Business Advisory Services) program
Program implementers: Business Advisory Service, EBRD.
Objectives:
- to support the development and growth of the competitiveness of small and medium-sized private enterprises;
- to support the development of the consultancy services market in Moldova;
- to improve the competitiveness of local consulting companies.
Target group: SMEs (from 10 to 250 employees, in exceptional cases up to 500 employees) from the Republic of Moldova, occupied in the production, services and commerce area.
Main activities: Partial cost coverage for consultancy services. The maximum grant awarded to eligible companies is EUR 10,000, which does not constitute more than 50% (excluding fees) of the project amount.

11. Farmer to Farmer Program (CNFA (Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture), USAID)
The main objectives of the FTF Program in Moldova are:
- Increasing the income of private farmers by assisting them at initiate group business activities;
- Facilitating access to credit for private farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs by enhancing knowledge in the field of financial planning and management;

12. The Access to Credits Initiative (The Pragma Corporation)
Program implementer: The Pragma Corporation, USAID
Objective: to reducing constraints on mortgage lending, widening funding opportunities for those looking for an alternative to bank financing and facilitating the growth and development of the leasing industry in Moldova.
Target group: Government of the Republic of Moldova, National Bank of Moldova, commercial banks and loan companies, other associations such as the Association of Moldovan Bankers, Real Estate Brokers Association, Valuers Association, Insurance Companies, Commercial Companies, and Foreign Investors.
Main activities:
- Technical assistance and training of the National Bank of Moldova and private commercial banks for the development of financial instruments;
- Technical assistance to the Government of Moldova in the elaboration of long-term state bonds;
- Co-working with local organizations to create new leasing companies;
- Provide information and training to other market participants, such as potential leasers, sellers, banks and insurance companies.

13. Startsouth and Starteast Program (Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth)
Program implementer: NUTEK - the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth
Objective: to promote the formation of business partnerships between Moldovan companies and Swedish companies by transferring know-how, investments in equipment.
Target group: SMEs from the RM.
Main activities: Provide financial support in the amount of SEK 500,000 (30,000 US dollars) and for the transfer of innovations SEK 250,000 ($ 15,000).
Initially, financial support is provided in the form of a loan and after the program has been implemented, the debt is canceled. In case that the project has not been finalized, the financial support is required to repay the debt.

14. The Import Promotion Center for Developing Countries (CBI)
CBI is an agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which supports exports to the European Union through market studies and training, operates in over 40 countries worldwide and monitors more than 30 European markets. In October 2006, Moldova was accepted as a partner country for the CBI.
Beneficiaries: Exporters from developing countries that export or want to export to Europe; business support organizations in developing countries, and companies in Europe that procure or want to procure from developing countries.

15. Moldovan-German program for increasing the qualification of managers
Program implementer: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova
Objective: to train continuously HR (Human Resources) managers, improve the business process in the field of staff development and increase the economic efficiency and competitiveness of Moldovan companies.
Target group: HR-managers and top-managers from the Republic of Moldova speaking the English language, up to 40 years of age.
Main activities:
- Organizing a pre-training course at the CCI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Continuing Training Center;
- Conducting an internship for one month at the German Training Centers. The participation fee for the Program is 5700 lei plus the cost of the air ticket and includes expenses in Moldova (consultation, coordination, accompaniment, training, distributed information materials, coffee breaks, testing, etc.) and those in Germany (training, internal visits, business visits, meetings, cultural program, etc.). In Germany each participant will receive a scholarship of about 600 euros, will be staying in the hotel and will be provided with food (breakfast and lunch).
