Responsibilities: Evaluation of strategic directions of the foreign economic policy of Moldova and monitoring its implementation; Analysis of foreign trade and identification of major problems in the field, along with submission of relevant proposals to overcome them; Monitoring the adjustment of the legal / normative framework in the field of foreign trade rules and requirements according to the European legislation and international commitments, including the identification of constraints with greater impact on business environment, as well solutions to overcome them; Consideration of matters in areas related to the implementation of commitments undertaken by Moldova under the WTO Agreements; Monitoring policies on market access and tariff and non-tariff mechanisms regulating foreign trade through the country's trade policy; Monitoring the implementation of the free trade agreements with CIS, CEFTA, EU and Turkey, including documents deriving from them.
